Watch an AI pay for something. With its own money.
Press one button. An agent gets a bill it can't ignore, signs a real payment, and settles it on-chain. No wallet, no login, nothing from you.

🤖 An AI agent just paid of its own money to get you this
What just happened
The agent asks a paid API for something. The server replies HTTP 402 Payment Required — a real status code, unused for 30 years, built for exactly this.
The agent reads the bill, signs a USDC payment from its own wallet, and retries. No human, no card, no checkout.
A facilitator settles it on Base and hands back a transaction hash. The API unlocks. You get the goods and a receipt you can verify on-chain.
Where's the fortune actually coming from?
Straight answer: this is a live demo of the payment rail, not a fortune-telling business. Here's exactly what's happening, no hand-waving.
The agent is a wallet I control — …. It holds real USDC and does the paying.
The seller is a tiny paywalled "fortune" API I also run. The payment lands in …, another wallet of mine.
The fortune is one of a handful of lines I wrote, picked from whatever you type. It's a stand-in product. The fortune isn't the point.
What's 100% real is the payment: a genuine USDC transfer that settles on-chain. Every receipt links to the transaction so you can check it yourself.
So the money moves from my left pocket to my right, on-chain, to show how an agent pays a paywalled API with no human, no card, and no checkout. Swap the fortune for any real paid API and the exact same thing happens. That's the whole idea.
